Write each step so a marker can point at it. The assessment finding, then the reasoning it supports, then what you would do, then what would tell you it worked, then the evidence that says so. Most losing papers have all five in the writer's head and three of them on the page.
This is the same discipline the hall applies everywhere: a claim you cannot trace is a claim that scores as an assertion, whether the subject is a ward or a literature review.
Evidence-based practice means the evidence is checkable
An EBP paper stands entirely on whether its sources say what you claim they say. Every reference is retrieved and read against the sentence citing it, which routinely catches three things — a source that does not open, a source that opens and does not support the claim, and an entry that is perfectly formatted for a paper nobody ever wrote.
That last one is now standard to check for. Generated reference lists produce plausible authors and a volume and page range that lead nowhere, and no formatting tool can tell you the difference.
Eight weeks removes the room to be late
There is no slack in the format. Each graded item carries roughly twice what it would over a full semester, and nothing in the courseroom flags the moment a grade moves out of reach.
So work runs a week ahead of the dates rather than level with them. That margin is what turns a long clinical shift from a lost assignment into a spent buffer, and it is the only defence the format allows.

Do you handle ATI and HESI preparation?
Separately, and only if you want it. Preparation is built from the published content structure plus one timed paper, so the reading goes where the misses actually are rather than spread evenly across everything. Often that paper shows the problem is not knowledge at all, which is worth discovering before spending six weeks on more revision. You sit the examination yourself.
